Telomere Length Measurement Products
To determine whether telomere length is affected in patients, we offer two tests to physicians:
1. The BASIC PROCEDURE provides measurements of telomere length for total lymphocyte and granulocyte populations. In more specialized situations, however, this procedure may not be informative enough.
2. When testing patients with diseases related to mutations in telomere maintenance genes, the
DETAILED PROCEDURE (shown here) is considered to be more informative. With this procedure, telomere lengths are measured for lymphocytes and granulocytes PLUS B-cells, naïve and memory T-cells and NK cells.
